Therapy Method

MIR3120 (MicroRNA 3120) is an RNA Gene, and is affiliated with the miRNA class.
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of highly conserved and endogenously synthesized gene expression regulators, which are single stranded, non-coding RNA molecules typically 18 to 22 nucleotides long in mature form. miRNAs are found throughout the body, and their expression is coordinated with that of coding genes, enabling them to regulate diverse and complex cellular pathways. MicroRNAs dysregulation can disrupt the balance of cell signaling and growth processes, resulting in disease such as cancer. Nowadays, several miRNAs have been found to be aberrantly expressed in distinct types of human cancers. By targeting cancer associated genes, some miRNAs behave as either tumor suppressors or oncogenes, and changes in their expression are associated with tumor initiation, progression and/or metastasis
